Sweet Deal

My new job is pretty nice. I like my fellow employees and the hours are not bad either(7am-4:30PM Mon-Thurs and 7am-11:00am on Friday). Anyway I'm still working for news@norman on nights and weekends so here are a few from the weekend(a bee keeper, football practice and camp meeting). For those you not familiar with camp meeting it's a religious campground run by the United Methodist Denomination. Folks come and stay in wooden structures called tents that have been there since the 1800's and fellowship and listen to gospel music.

Time for Something New

So here are a few new photos from the past two weeks. They include a summer softball camp, summer reading program, town meeting, legion baseball and a business after hours event. My dad is doing much better and should be able to back to work in a few weeks. I begin a new job on Tuesday as a color tech for a custom lab. I'll still be doing the whole freelance thing and working for news@norman, I'll just have a little more money coming in and some insurance (always a good thing). Well I'll keep ya posted.

Crazy week

This weekend was a little strange shooting fireworks on Saturday and a lightning stuck barn on Sunday. It seems like mother nature had a few fireworks of her own. Also sorry for the delay in posting anything new my father had emergency triple bypass surgery last week. It was a little crazy around here but he's doing better now and hopefully all will be back to normal in a few weeks.

Busy Weekend

It was a very busy weekend. I shot two graduations a ball game and a local festival in our town called "Hog Happenin'". It involves BBQ cooking and Harley Davidson's not to fun when it was 100F here over the weekend.

So this weekend I got to go out with the lake patrol, as the paper I work for did an article on boating safety and the Memorial Day weekend. Also there's a shot here from the first American Legion game of the year Post 455 in Denver, NC.
